There Are No Saints is a delightful Mexican-American movie 2022 directed by Alfonso Pineda Ulloa and starring José María Yazpik, Paz Vega, Ron Perlman, and Tim Roth. The thrilling crime movie “There Are No Saints” sets out as vividly and casually as its name, with an unpredictable plot that takes as simple a shortcut as possible.

It has never been more fortunate that the film took ten years to release since its inception, and the sound, speed, and sensitivity of the movie are evident throughout the movie. Imitation does not guarantee much, and “There Are No Saints” is at all another avoidable plot of revenge wrapped in action.

As part of it, he also admitted to blaming Neto for the crime and was released. However, Neto is not a pure man either, as he has been involved in many criminal acts, one of which is a recurring memory of what happened. Well-known and infamous for his criminal history, Neto is also known as a Jesuit among those involved in crime, as an indication of the violent persecution perpetrated by some Jesuits during the Spanish Inquisition.

Carl suggests that Neto should try to stay as far away from problems as possible, and Neto agrees, as he wants to leave town after meeting his son. That night, he is illegally assaulted by a group of police officers who cruelly promise that, despite his sudden release from prison, he will remain vigilant and will do everything in his power to put him back in prison.

The man, too, seems to be finished with his previous crimes, as the memory worries him again – little Neto appears to be subtly investigating the woman about her husband’s whereabouts, and when she refuses to cooperate, he kills her. The Jesuit now meets with his former gang member and friend, Bailarin, asking him to be released from the gang, and the gangster agrees as long as Neto quickly leaves town and does not associate with any other organization.

Neto now continues his work of reuniting with his young son Julio, who lives with his ex-wife Nadia and her new husband, Vincent. Julio is overjoyed to see his father, as the little boy considers his father to be almost a saint, painting his portraits and his many devotional tattoos, and also complains a little that he is not very happy to be with Vincent. Neto meets Nadia privately, and they are close, but the woman refuses to leave Vincent, as the man is a wealthy real estate agent and the criminal gang.

However, her fears are soon fulfilled, as Vincent’s men report seeing her with Neto on the man, and Vincent physically abusing her on her way home. Shocked, Julio calls Neto, informs him of the situation, and the man rushes to their house to rescue them. When he gets home, Neto is shocked to find his ex-wife shot dead and his son abducted by Vincent and his men.

There Are No Saints Ending, Explained: What Happened At The End?

When Neto wakes up, he finds himself in the van with other men who may have been his captives as they take him straight to Sans’ house. Neto fights the men and controls the van, driving himself to the scene, following GPS. The Sans’ hideout looks like a fortress in the middle of a dense jungle, and as he begins to explore the area, Neto finds screens with live images of countless people abducted and tortured, physically and sexually, among them is Inez again.

Just as he stands up and plans his course, Neto is also abducted and taken to an inner room where he sees many people, men, and women, young and old, sleeping under dreadful conditions. Sans himself now arrives at the scene, and leads Neto to the room where Julio is being held — but the boy is hung upside down with his legs bound in chains.

There Are No Saints

As Sans slowly dumps Julio into the fountain water in front of Neto’s captive eyes, he reveals who he really is — the woman Neto killed years ago, whom he has always remembered, had a little boy he had killed with him. , and Sans was the father of the boy and the husband of the woman.

At the time, he had given birth to a childless Sans for some very small, undisclosed reason, and now the act comes to bite him as his son is killed in front of his eyes. Eventually, he is able to kill the San, making all his captives free to go, but he cannot go with his son, as he originally intended.

Sometime later, Neto and Inez appear to be praying in front of Julio’s grave, and Neto is praying to his God, asking for forgiveness for all his past and present offenses. The final scene shows Neto unlocking the trunk of his car to watch Bailarin locked up, as the film darkens and the end-credits roll. This last incident apparently means that Neto is now seeking revenge on his former party member and friend for his rebellion by warning the Sans of his arrival.
