Kirby explains the effects of the reality shift and instructs Jinny to go to the address on her ID card and learn more about her “new” life. At that moment, Kirby tries to track Dan down but realizes he is no longer living in his house on this timeline.

Elsewhere, Harper goes back to meet Leo and wants a tape of Klara’s performance. However, Leo wants Harper to bring him back to the day they first arrived at The House. Their argument changes physically, and Harper brutally kills Leo.

At that moment, Kirby arrives at the Chicago Sun-Times office and finds that Dan is no longer working there.
