My Liberation Notes Season 1 Episode 7 & 8: Recap
In My Liberation Notes Season 1 Episode 7, we have seen that the mysterious caller calls Mr. Gu “Gu Ja-Gyeong.” If the caller calls Mr. Gu, he calls himself his brother without explaining what it means. The caller tells him that a man named Sam-Sik is looking for Mr. Gu. Apparently, Sam-Sik approached Chairman Shin by illegally attending a funeral and inquiring about Gu’s whereabouts.
Although the caller seemed shocked by the incident, Mr. Gu surprisingly seemed unconcerned, as if he would not have cared if death was imminent. His stand is always true to what he said to Mi-Jeong, that he would not be afraid if someone carried a gun for him. Mr. Extremely evil, he subtly misrepresents his extraordinary life!
Though not concerned about him, Mr. Gu asks the caller about a man named Msaebi, who appears to be a rogue. You may want to use Ssaebi’s help to get Mi-Jeong’s money from his ex. One day, Mr. Gu is seen by a man (possibly Sam-Sik) at the gas station. Sam-Sik shocked Mr. Baek with him about it, but he dismisses it as absurd as he thinks Gu Ja-Gyeong will never drive the tempo. Meanwhile, Mr. Gu realizes he has been spotted and makes his way out.
However, Gu’s mysterious caller finds out he was hiding in Sanpo and warns him not to stay. Followers of Mr. Gu did not seem to fit in with his thoughts about getting off at Dangmi Station, where an unknown woman kept screaming. This failure to link the dots also raises the curiosity to know more about Mr.’s past. Alas, which will only be revealed in future episodes. Regardless, what we do know is that Mr. Gu about Mi-Jeong is also true that he would do anything to protect her.
Chang-Hee can’t stop thinking about Mi-Jeong’s romance! He calculates how a person’s heart rate does not increase in order to receive what is his own. However, they find butterflies in their stomachs when they crave something that does not belong to them. He argues that happiness brings peace and insecurity leads to turmoil, which may be the reason why he is not successful.
