Empire State Movie Synopsis
Chris Potamitis, an American citizen of the Greek Diaspora, makes a living by doing odd jobs. Tommy, his father, was a police officer back in Greece, but in New York, he works as a security guard for the Spiro shady club. Instead, Chris’ best friend Eddie tends to lose his job and be in a constant state of flux. Who knows where Chris and Eddie have brought a statue of Chris’ house garden. Chris wants to be a police officer after his father, but only gets a job at Empire New York Securities Incorporated.
Tony, a veteran of the company, takes Chris under his wing. As Tony reveals to Chris, a lot of shit goes down in the Empire, but that’s not their story. When Tony dies in an attempt to break into the Empire, Chris discovers that the company is offering only $ 5,000 to Tony’s family – 10 percent of the insurance value – as compensation.
Annoyed, Chris sets aside $ 25000 secret office money, and the rest he takes to Tony’s family. At that moment, Eddie sees a great opportunity for more plunder in the Empire and informs Mike and Jimmy about the plot. While their first night tour was ruined due to the arrival of Detective James Ransome, Eddie plans to travel alone. With about $ 10 million out of the safe and Ransome shutting down the suspects, things look bleak for Chris.
Empire State Movie Ending,
Eddie smashes the roof and begs Chris to give him the keys. He also pulls out the camera in front of the safe and bathes Chris’ head. The next morning, the city is in an uproar, and there is no trace of Eddie near the scene. The FBI initially thought this was the work of Cosa Nostra, a group of organized criminals. However, Detective James Ransome maybe something.
Ransome follows Chris, listening to the conversation between Chris and Eddie. The latter, added cocaine, tell (similar to shouting) the former how you give him $ 8 million. Ransome follows Eddie continuously as he meets Mike and plans to head to the Colombian for a black cocaine deal. Ransome even goes to Spiro’s dungeon, which means Mike knows something about the burglary. Afterward, on the crime site, Ransome finds the faces of both Mike and Eddie, as they are both temporary scammers.
When Chris came to the police station to answer some common questions, he did not know that Ransome had pictures of Mike and Eddie. In addition, Ransome, showing Chris a video camera near the safe just before it runs out, asks if Chris thinks Eddie is talking to someone in the videos. Ransome later heads for Eddie’s work, finding an ugly heist painting in Eddie’s closet.
Meanwhile, Mike takes Eddie to Colombia. They give the gang money even though they are not looking for cocaine, but it is not as if they are getting it anyway. After the cash count, Colombia asks the team to step back and get out. While Mike became a martyr in the shooting, Eddie fled for his life. He arrives at the back porch of Chris’s house, where he negotiates with Chris to get more money. At that moment, Tommy walks out the door, yelling at Eddie at gunpoint.
Police arrived quickly and arrested Eddie and Chris. While the film shows the final clip of Chris ‘interview, it does not waste much life on Chris’ fate. However, we do know that Eddie Argitakos received a 15-year sentence in conjunction with the police in their investigation. Argitakos’ father, Steve, on the other hand, received a four-year sentence for money laundering. However, a few decades have passed since the robbery, and the real Eddie was released in 1990.
Chris Potamitis is the undisputed character of the story as his character’s positive energy shines through. Although, for the most part, Liam Hemsworth describes the role of Chris Potamitis, the latter times show us a glimpse of the real Chris. And finally, it is a real video of the detectives and Chris, the man of the hour himself. Because of his involvement in slavery, Chris spends nine years in prison.
However, because of his family, Chris has been reunited with his community. What happened to Chris, you may be wondering. Well, the real Chris Potamitis has continued to produce a film based on his life, the one we are talking about. So, you seem to be coming at a cheaper price. The thought of money prompts us to ask the following question.
The verdict indicates that the police are still seeking the money. Although police have arrested many people, the money has not been recovered yet. The interviewee asks Chris in the last moments that money is not there even when making a video and Chris nods in agreement. The next minute, Chris continues to convince the interrogator, “How he disappeared into the cash register, disappeared from our hands.”
The interrogator still does not sound confident. When he taunted Chris, “It looks like you’re going to say something,” Chris’ frustration returned, “No.” Therefore, the conclusion suggests that Chris may be aware of something about lost money. Next time, just before cutting the credits, we get another shot of the template. Here, the suggestion is that the money is still within the figure, as Chris tells Nancy just before reaching the climax. But, apparently, during the day, money remains scarce.
