In the Girl from Plainville Season 1 Episode 7, Michelle’s condition worsens, and she begins to lose her temper. After some time, she receives an urgent message from Conrad saying that he cannot continue like this. Anxiously she tried to call her but her voicemail suddenly rang. Back in today’s timeline, Lynn finds it increasingly difficult to get Michelle out of her thoughts. The grieving mother finally decides to watch the tapes Conrad records as a video diary of the genre.

The Girl from Plainville Season 1 Episode 6 opens in 2017, two years from the events of the previous episode. Michelle, now 20, appears for the first time in court and surprised prosecutors immediately by demanding a bench trial, in effect disregarding her right to be a judge. Assistant District Attorney Katie Rayburn was forced to immediately prepare her opening statements, and the trial began. As more details are discussed about Conrad’s tragic death, Lynn finds it difficult to sit in court and get up and leave.
