The Call Movie Synopsis
The day is busy on Hive as operators hold pressing calls. Jordan Turner is a veteran mobile phone operator of Leah Templeton. Someone broke into Leah’s home in Hancock Park while her parents were away. The burglar breaks the window, and Leah hides in her upstairs room, her door unlocked. Jordan asks Leah to come out of the window and hide in the window. The burglar leaves for a while, but the return of impatience from Jordan causes him to return, giving it to Leah.
The next morning, the police are still searching for Leah, while Jordan is unable to justify her mistake. They found Leah’s body buried in a field at Lancaster. In another incident, Casey Nelson (Abigail Breslin) was on his way to a shopping mall with his friend.
However, the friend has to pick up his brother from school, and he leaves early. Casey headed for the basement to pull out of the car when the car suddenly overturned, causing his phone to break down. Next, we know, that the driver gets out of the car and throws Casey into the trunk.
Casey calls 911, but the phone is the first model to be discarded, an authority that can track it. While giving a lesson to the students, Jordan hears a colleague on the phone in distress. Jordan picks up the conversation, asking Casey to turn on the tail light. As Casey follows the instructions and shakes his hand, a passerby offers a spot. They headed north along Highway 170, then turned toward Fernando Boulevard. While Jordan is still on the phone, his girlfriend Paul Phillips rushes to save the girl. At that moment, they realize that Casey’s captor was involved in Leah’s death.
The Call Movie Ending, Explained: Who Is The Serial Killer?
To give you a quick overview of what happened in the middle, Jordan begins by asking Casey to use white paint on the trunk to build a trail on the road. Eyes in the sky can’t find the track, while the good Samaritan warns the killer with “leaking” paint. The killer takes a quick turn right and stops in the parking lot. A Samaritan boy comes along (the latter identifies him as Alan Denado) and asks the murderer if anything is wrong. The killer confirms the damage to the trunk while the young man, still suspicious, calls 911.
However, the killer takes him along with his car, leaving the red Camry, which belonged to an adult from the beginning. Then, Alan regained consciousness and started screaming, which led to the attacker coming out and stabbing him several times while Jordan was on the fence. After that, they stop on the road to fill the tank. Casey emerges from the trunk through a hole in the ground, asking for help from a gas station attendant. However, the murderer poured oil on the attendant and burned him alive.
After killing the two men, he moves Casey to an unknown location. As he hung up the call, he said, “It’s already over,” reminding Jordan of Leah’s death. On the other hand, Paul gets a cup of coffee from Camry and gets a fingerprint ID from the killer. The killer, Michael Lewis Foster, was booked to be set on fire back in 1995 when he set fire to his house, 1765 Oakcreek Lane, in Santa Clarita Hills. However, the nearest kraal is still there, where the killer may take his victim.
Police have set up roadblocks around the area. However, after hearing the message “It is finished,” Jordan cannot leave Hive. The memory of Leah’s phone comes back to her, while her boss reassures her that she has followed all the rules. Some things seem out of control. However, Jordan amplifies the conversation of the last few minutes, and you can hear the click of a little click somewhere nearby.
For information, she sets up GPS locals living in Michael’s Oakcreek Lane, who is guilty of rescuing Casey from the killer’s ropes. In another incident, Paul finds a black Lincoln lying on the side of the road.
However, he does not know that Jordan is in the pit of the murderer. She headed for the red brick house that seemed empty. However, Jordan finds a few photographs of a girl who looks exactly like the PR (personal report), Casey. For now, however, the photos are useless, but the US flag in the yard may indicate a trace. Jordan finds a metal disc attached to the flag that makes a noise and finds a passage below. We learn how the killer works as Jordan peeks through the crack in the closet.
The killer cuts the hair and follicle into the victims’ brain, possibly because his sister, the girl from the photo, suffered from a serious condition (possibly cancer), which resulted in hair loss. She may be dead, for all we know. It is possible that the death of a sister caused her brother to lose his sanity.
As Michael continues to perform surgery on Casey, Jordan emerges from hiding with a blow to Michael’s head. Michael continues to dip Jordan in a nearby bathtub, but Casey stabs him with medical scissors. Because of the distraction, Jordan is fleeing for his life, and Michael follows him. All three came out of the dungeon, and before the assassin wounded Jordan, Casey put scissors on his back.
The last sequence shows Jordan tying Michael to a chair while Michael teases him for not having the courage to do horrible things as she is the one who works. However, Jordan and Casey come out after arresting Michael, while Casey applies Michael’s punchline line to him, leading to poetic justice. As they close the door, we do not think Michael will survive long imprisonment without food and water. If Jordan discloses his trip to Paul, Michael could end up in jail, which, we think, is less likely. “The Call.”
