When Calls the Heart Season 9 Episode 6 begins with the townspeople getting very angry because of the road conditions caused by the increase in the number of vehicles. Nathan tries his best to control the cars but his lack of knowledge about cars hinders his efforts. Additionally, Newton feels nervous seeing cars after his accident and starts to panic, so Bill temporarily refuses Nathan to ride in him.
Frustrated by the traffic crisis and Mike’s lack of city welfare efforts, Lee takes matters into his own hands and writes a lengthy editorial article in Valley Voice criticizing the mayor. However, Rosemary advises her to control her anger and avoid blaming Mike. Elsewhere, Elizabeth is concerned that Lucas is associating with Wyman Walden and is trying to inquire about their business.
