Billions Season 6 Episode 12: Recap
Billions Season 6 Episode 12, titled ‘Cold Storage,’ begins when Chuck and Prince face off in the Attorney General’s office. Their various attorneys, Kate and Ari, are also present. Acting Attorney General Dave warns them that they should take the meeting seriously because one of them could end up in jail. The episode then aired 72 hours earlier.
Chuck visits Kate and tells her that he knows she once got a family friend out of trouble by choosing not to persecute them. Chuck is clear on the warpath path. His friends and subordinates are worried about him, but no one can do anything about it.
Chuck discovers that Mike Prince has retained the arms company he acquired earlier when paying for Ax. Chuck follows the trail and discovers that the cars are moving a few computer drives. He concludes that these drives contain the cryptocurrency Mike intends to pay Mike Money, Prince’s move to combat income inequality.
In describing Mike Prince, Chuck also compares the Prince with Greg Stillson, the corrupt and powerful politician of Stephen King’s novel ‘The Dead Zone’ and its adaptation. Stillson wants to be President of the United States. As a Prince, Stillson has a craving for food and will not give up until he gets what he wants.
After finding out that Rian had sex with Prince, Scooter and Wags try to figure out what the outcome will be. We later find out that Mike knew how his office would react. Rian repeatedly asserts that the meeting was perfectly agreed upon. In the end, she refuses to make money. As Taylor later told him, this rejection allowed her to retain her freedom.
