‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ was recorded in various locations in Canada and the USA, especially in British Columbia and Hawaii. You may find it interesting to know that British Columbia serves as the site for recording the first installment of the movie series.
The flexible location provided by the Canadian province is ideal for recording all types of projects. Hawaii, on the other hand, is located in the Pacific Ocean, making it the only U.S. territory. outside of the North American continent. Over the years, it has served as a recording studio for several movies and TV shows such as ” Avatar, ” Jurassic Park, Lost, ‘and’ Magnum P.I.
The main action of the action-adventure film began in mid-March 2021 and ended in late June 2021. The team used the practical title ‘Emerald Hill.’ Apparently, the actors and crew finished the recording in British Columbia before moving the product to Hawaii.
The production team ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ traveled across the Canadian province of British Columbia to record several sequences of star actor Jim Carrey. The production team appeared to be camping in Surrey and tents were set up to facilitate production at A Rocha Canada, an environmental organization near the Surrey and Langley border. The location of non-profit organization is located at 1620 192 Street, Surrey.
Apart from these areas, sources have revealed that Burnaby, Port Coquitlam, and Ladysmith also serve as major filmmaking centers. Many of these locations were also used for the production of the first film in the series, ‘Sonic the Hedgehog.’
