Slow Horses Season 1 Episode 3: Recap

They realize that their boss, Jackson Lamb, may know more about the case and sneak back to Slough House to try to sign in to his email. The two were shocked by an office robber who was killed in the incident. When Jackson appears at the scene, he identifies the deceased assailant as Jed Moody, an MI5 agent, much to the surprise of all present.
In a secret meeting with MI5’s second desk Diana Taverner, Jackson discovers that the MI5 may actually be involved in the kidnapping as part of a larger plot. However, Jed’s death creates a problem as it threatens to expose Diana’s illegal program, which Jackson calls “false flag performance.”
The two made a quick deal, and Jackson was given the task of going to the kidnappers’ hideout to help Hassan and “shut up” the whole affair and, subsequently, secure the security of his Slough House subordinates.

The politician is outraged by Robert’s presence and tells him to leave but also looks worried when the former says MI5 may be involved in the operation.
