Sanditon Season 2 Episode 3, Charlotte and Alexander Colbourne reached an agreement as she and Colonel Lennox enjoyed a reunion. Alison falls for her new beauty. Clara needs Esther’s help.
Sanditon Season 2 Episode 2: Recap
Sanditon Season 2 Episode 2 begins when Charlotte collides with Colonel Lennox on his way to his first day on the job. After wishing him good luck with his work, he invites him to a Mess Dinner organized by Military Police. Charlotte arrives in the Colbourne area, where Alexander introduces her to his daughter Leonora and his niece Augusta. Both girls are annoyed at being assigned a manager and try their best to dismiss Charlotte.
Elsewhere, Georgiana defends every suitor Mary brings with her and expresses her disgust when she insists on marrying him. The young lady also has a wonderful encounter with singer Charles Lockhart, who plays with her unconsciously. Although he may hate to admit it, Georgiana is fascinated by Charles’ unusual ideas.
Meanwhile, Esther is worried about her inability to conceive, and Lady Denham makes her feel bad about it by teasing her. To make matters worse, she feels insulted when Miss Hankins starts asking about her infertility problems. However, this zealous woman also recommended to Esther the possible solution to her problem, which she considered seriously.
As Mess Dinner invitations are broadcast throughout the city, Alison is delighted when the handsome Captain Carter asks for her personal presence by sending Captain Fraser. Meanwhile, Tom and Arthur asked Colonel Lennox to consider setting up permanent residence in Sanditon and proposing to build military barracks.
Residents of Sanditon arrive for a meal to mingle with the soldiers, with Charlotte and Colonel Lennox dancing alone. Although, he is surprised when he shares that his employer is Alexander Colbourne.
Charles, on the other hand, commits a heinous crime by raising a shameful loaf of bread to impress Georgiana. Although Colonel Lennox and his men and city dwellers do not laugh at all, he admits his tireless and carefree attitude.
Things are going well for Alison, as she and Captain Carter enjoy each other’s company, which shows the love between the two of them. However, Captain Fraser seems to be attracted to Alison and looks unhappy as he joins his teammates.
