In 1989, Solomon returns to Japan and encounters racism. It’s been very secretive since the late 1980s but there’s a lot there. He also meets his father, Mozasu, who owns a pachinko parlor and intends to grow his business, as well as his grandmother, Sunja. Mosasu is dating a woman named Etsuko.
