After some time, Edh wakes up at the military base and is rewarded for her bravery. However, she finds out that the soldiers are lying to him. Her daughter is not at home, and Vanja’s whereabouts are unknown. Edh is disappointed and realizes her mistake. She has rejected all mankind and regrets her decision. Edh then spoke to Nylund to convince him to help her destroy the virus.
Nylund is skeptical and tries to stop Edh from this idea. However, Edh does not change, and Nylund agrees to help. The two passed through the military base and arrived at the laboratory where the pills were kept. “Black Crab.”
However, the two were arrested by their superiors. In addition, they cannot destroy the virus within the facility as it can infect everyone. Therefore, Edh assumes the responsibility of destroying the capsules without foundation. Dressed as laborers, Edh and Nylund arrived outside the center but were stopped before fleeing. Edh’s injury hurts him, and he can no longer run. So, she attaches the bombs to the bombs and jumps out of the plane. She detonates a bomb and eliminates the threat of viruses to humans.
In the end, Edh made a conscious choice. Her journey shows the mysteries soldiers faced during the war. After following the instructions of the film’s majority, Edh decides to make her own decision during the climax in the hope of saving mankind. Whether her efforts were actually more effective than war is unknown, which further highlights the tragedy of a soldier’s life. In the final scene, Edh falls into the sea and meets his daughter. Colonel Raad gives Edh a picture of her daughter, reviving Edh’s belief that Vanja is alive and well. However, upon arriving at the military base, Edh realizes that the army is lying to him. The picture and the promise of seeing Vanja was just a way to motivate Edh to complete the task. “Black Crab.”
However, when the army chief revealed the truth to Edh, she never claimed that Vanja was dead or alive. All Edh hears about her daughter’s whereabouts is unknown after all these years. Meanwhile, Edh believes Vanja is still alive. She decides to destroy the pills to protect her daughter. In the last scene, Edh meets her daughter underwater.
The situation is set in Edh’s mind and therefore cannot indicate Vanja’s fate. Finally, the Black Crab film concludes without giving a clear answer to what happened to Vanja.
