‘Minx’ is a comedy TV series on HBO Max. It follows Joyce, a youth activist in the 1970s, who wants to start her own magazine highlighting women’s issues. When his ideas were rejected in the male-dominated publishing industry, he collaborated with Doug, a low-paid publisher. Together, they packed the contents of a magazine with the first impression of women, ‘Minx,’ and entered a world of pornography.
Soon, however, Joyce had to face public complaints in order to support her cause and save the publication. Standing behind Pasadena in the 70s, the colorful pictures of the ‘Minx’ offer a complete contrast to its striking yet clever narratives.
