About The Turning Red Movie
Meilin “Mei” Lee is a 13-year-old school student who has just begun to deal with the turmoil and uncertainty of young people’s life. While trying to adapt to change, she should also always listen at home and respect the wishes of her strict mother.
As if all of this is not hard enough, Mei, unfortunately, is the victim of a family curse, so she turns into a big red panda whenever she is happy or depressed. To end the curse, Mei has to perform a special ritual on one particular night. Although it may seem too easy, her decisions get complicated when Mei finds out that the traditional day coincides with the concert of her favorite boys’ band, 4 * Town.
