‘A Madea Homecoming‘ was widely recorded at Tyler Perry Studios, located at 315 Deshler Street Southwest, Atlanta. Owned by Tyler Perry, a 330-hectare studio site is located under the Fort McPherson military base. It includes 12 high-quality soundstages, equipped with various levels of entertainment.
The lot also contains several sets from the district prison to the farmhouse and the White House to the Oval Office to meet the needs of the filmmakers. Madea’s impressive house and the film’s surroundings show part of the beautiful sites found within the studio.

Along with the soundtrack, Tyler Perry Studios includes a 200-acre green outdoor shooting area. The green area includes lakeside sets and rustic cabins. Over the years, the studio has hosted recordings of products such as ‘Hawkeye,’ ‘Red Notice,’ ‘Coming 2 America,’ ‘Sistas,’ etc.
