Severance Season 1 Episode 3 opens with Petey explaining to Mark the process of reversing the inconsistency and illness it brings. Although Mark does not want to free himself, Petey urges Mark to find the true nature of his work in Lumon. After Mark leaves the basement, Petey begins to see a strange view of his work known as the “work”.
