‘The Hangover is a comedy movie that redefined what it means to have a nightmare. Stu Price, Phil Wenneck, Alan Garner, and Doug Billings started the party a few days before Doug married Alan’s sister Tracy. The Hangover was recorded in different parts of Nevada and California. According to sources, the actors and staff shot the movie in the fall of 2008 within two months. An important part of the movie is set in Sin City, which is also the place where the production team shot most of the series. The boys live at Caesars Palace, and the roof of the magnificent hotel and casino is where their adventurous evenings begin. The Garner family home is actually a residence on 415 South Grand Avenue in Pasadena. This is also where Doug and Tracy should get married. The school where Phil teaches is Daniel Webster Elementary School at 2101 East Washington Boulevard. The school appears in sequence when Phil cheats on his students.
Part of the movie set at Caesars Palace was heavily filmed in the area. However, the corrupt suite the boys came from was a set built on stage 15 of Warner Bros. EBurbank Studios. Located at 4000 Warner Boulevard, the production facility offers 14 outdoor sets and 36 audio segments. Some notable studio credits are ‘Interstellar,’ ‘Dunkirk,’ ‘Two and a Half Men,’ and ‘Friends.’ “The Hangover.”
An internal follow-up to the police station was filed at 303 South Union Street in Los Angeles. The building once housed the activities of LAPD Rampart Division detectives. Apparently, it now belongs to the CareMore Care Center. The impound yard where the boys were fetching a Mercedes was seized at U-Pick Parts, a garbage dump at 11409 Penrose Street in Sun Valley. It seems that this facility is out of order.
The Hangover movie covers a few other parts of Golden State. A series of highways were shot at in Rialto, a town in San Bernardino County. It is located about 56 miles from Los Angeles. In addition, several movie scenes were also shot in West Hollywood in Los Angeles County. The hip and city scene is known for its famous Sunset Strip and nightlife.
