‘The In Between’ was recorded in Georgia and California. Production of the Arie Posin guide began on March 23, 2021, and was wrapped up a few weeks later on May 13, 2021.
The shooting took place mostly in a small town in Georgia, while a few key shots were also shot in California.
Georgia
The main photography took place on the island of Tybee. Located in Chatham County, a small town a few miles from Savannah, the oldest city in the state of Georgia. The scene where Skylar and Tessa meet for the first time in the cinema has apparently been shot in the area as well.
Filming on Tybee Island has been a challenge on some days due to bad weather while the team was facing the planning challenges caused by the epidemic. Several scenes were also shot at an undisclosed location in the river.
