The recording of ‘Bigbug’ mainly took place in Greater Paris, a studio located in the Bry-sur-Marne area of Val-de-Marne. Soundstage Studios de Bry, 2 Avenue de l’urope in Bry-sur-Marne, are used to record a movie. It was established in 1987 and is one of the largest studios in France.
The venue is a film and television production facility that provides seven audio segments for filmmakers. Audio channels vary in area from about 300 meters square to 1100 square meters.
In addition to the soundstages, the studio has a variety of production facilities, carpenter’s workshops, prop shops, hair and cosmetics outlets to facilitate production. The movie sets were designed by Academy Award-winning production designer Aline Bonetto who sought inspiration for American furniture from the 1950s to 1960s to give the background of the movie a different look.
The works of filmmaker Jacques Tati and artist James Turell also inspired the film sets. Famous shows and films such as ‘Le Bazar de la Charité,’ ‘Versailles,’ and ‘De Gaulle’ were shot in the studio.
