All of Us Are Dead Season 1: Synopsis
Throughout its first season, ‘All of Us Are Dead’ cleverly balances the critical and bizarre aspects of its account with the Zombies and all that it entails. The presence of an ensemble cast helps the show in both aspects. On the other hand, it allows creators to explore the various issues that plague Gen-Z. On the other hand, these same characters are dying out of their lives as the dead rise next to them.
Nam On-jo as Ji-hu Park and Lee Cheong-san as Chan-Young Yoon are childhood friends. They are always arguing, and they quickly reconcile. On-jo has feelings for Lee Su-Hyeok as Park Solomon, a former schoolboy and a close friend of Cheong-san.
However, Su-Hyeok has an interest in Choi Nam-ra as Hyun Cho, a good but impartial class president. At the time, Cheong-san had been dating On-jo since they were both children. (All of Us Are Dead) The cast members include Han Gyeong-su, one of Cheong-san’s close friends; Yoon I sak, On-ji’s best friend; Oh Joon-young, the best student in the class after Nam-ra; Yang Dae-su; Lee Na-yeon, and Jang Woo-jin.
At the time, Woo-jin’s sister, Jang Ha-ri, was a member of a team of archers. Yoon Gwi-nam is part of a gang that bullies other students. Min Eun-ji and Kim Cheol-soo are their common victims. Park Mi-jin is a rebellious officer. Park Sun-hwa is apparently the classroom teacher of On-jo and Cheong-san.
After discovering that an infected hamster had bitten Hyeon-ju, Byeong-chan kept him tied up and shut up in a science lab. However, she breaks down and bites the school nurse. As Hyeon-ju is taken to the hospital, a nurse turns around and starts biting people. Soon, the whole school was in an uproar as students and staff with the virus roamed eating and infecting others. At the hospital, Hyeon-ju spreads the virus.
At first, it is understandable that students may find it difficult to accept what is happening to them. The ‘Bus to Busan’ referendum is designed to show that these creatures are really Zombies. Lee Byeong-chan was arrested and interrogated by Song Jae-il, who appeared to be involved in the investigation after the disappearance of Byeong-chan’s son.
On-jo, Cheong-san, and the other survivors of their class found temporary refuge. Elsewhere, Nam So-ju, On-jo’s father and firefighter, finds out what’s going on. (All of Us Are Dead) However, she is unable to get to her daughter as soon as the virus spreads to Hyosan, and her activities require her to help those she can help. Among the people who assisted was Assemblywoman Park.
While trying to get a call, Cheong-san is separated from the rest of the group. He records Gwi-Nam killing the principal. This makes him a bitter enemy of other young people. While chasing Cheong-san, Gwi-nam is attacked by Zombies. Cheong-san leaves, believing he is dead. However, Gwi-Nam eventually wakes up, and it turns out that he has turned into a non-human or zombie. Dae-su later called them halfbies. As the series progresses, we see two other people turning into halfbies: Nam-ra and Eun-ji.
Before his death, Byeong-chan tells Jae-il that he could not find a cure for the virus but added that all his research is on a laptop in a school lab. Later, soldiers took over and sent special forces to obtain a laptop. They meet the On-jo group and initially intend to bring them back. However, Eun-ji, who has reached a safe haven, attacks Cheol-soo and several soldiers, and military scientists recognize that there are asymptomatic cases among those infected. This prompted the police chief to order his soldiers to leave the students.
Government scientists are ultimately failing to come up with a solution. As the virus begins to spread beyond Hyosan and could reach Seoul, the military commander orders his troops to detonate the zombies. At the end of the season, the survivors fled for safety. All of Us Are Dead.
All of Us Are Dead Season 1 Ending, Explained
In the first episode of All of Us Are Dead, survivors find out about the bombing because of Nam-RA’s growing hearing ability. Gwi-Nam appears for the last time to try to kill Cheong-san. Although he was beaten again, he managed to bite Lee Cheong-san this time.
Realizing that his future is in jeopardy, Cheong-san bids farewell to On-jo and his companions and sets off to interrupt the zombies so that his friends can leave the building and find a safe place before the bomb starts to fall. He lures the usual Zombies into a deep hole and tricks them into falling there.
Meanwhile, it emerged that Gwi-Nam survived the last meeting. They both fought until the explosion. In the final scene of the previous episode of All of Us Are Dead, Cheong-san is shown lying among the other zombies, covered in ashes. In the short distance, the name of On-jo’s name is visible. The implication is that Cheong-san is dead, which is probably the case.
Cheong-san, however, has experienced almost death-related situations throughout the season. In some passages, the end means he is dead. However, the next episode shows that this is not the case. There is a good chance that the same thing will happen here, and the authors aim to uncover the truth next season. All of Us Are Dead.
