‘A Hero’ is a thriller drama surrounding Rahim, who is serving a prison sentence for not paying his debts. During her 2-day break, he and her colleague Farkhondeh found a gold coin purse that eventually changed their lives for the better. Where Was A Hero Movie Filmed?
After a delay associated with the Covid-19 epidemic, the thrilling drama finally began filming in late August 2020. The production was wrapped up in mid-December 2020 after about 15 weeks of recording. Filmmaker Ali Ghazi has worked closely with Farhadi and Amir Jadidi (Rahim) as they spend months developing the character of Rahim.

In January 2022, Farhadi opened up why he chose to shoot a film in Shiraz. He said, “I also wanted to leave the capital, central Iran. Shiraz is a historic city known to the Iranian people. ” The filmmaker went on to say, “We feel a certain passion for the past in that city. There is a connection between the history of that city and the concept of my film. ”

Therefore, a team of filmmakers inspected a number of seemingly normal locations where some of the most stinging moments of the movie were shot. In a few squares, we even see a bazaar with shops with glass walls. Areas like these, combined with musical effects, have proved to be beneficial in creating the dramatic atmosphere that the drama demands.

The opening scenes were shot at Naqsh-e Rostam, a beautiful archaeological site near Persepolis. The collection of statues of stone is historically significant as it is part of a mountain that may have been the last stop of the famous Achaemenid dynasty, including Darius the Great and Xerxes.
