‘How I Fell in Love with a Gangster’ was recorded in various realities in Poland and Lithuania, especially in Warsaw, Milanówek, Gdańsk, and Vilnius. Major photography probably began in March 2021 and wrapped up in early May of that year.
Actors and staff had a great time recording and often shared photos on social media in their old getups.
‘How I Fell in Love with a Gangster’ was heavily recorded in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Actors and crew filmed at several locations in the city, including the Służewiec Racetrack in Puławska 266 which hosted horse racing events. Warsaw is located on the Vistula River and is an important international center for economic, cultural, and political activity.
The densely populated city is full of European historic buildings and has a spectacular view of the city, making it an excellent photography site. The organizers’ team also selected the Gdańsk Shipyard, formerly known as the Lenin Shipyard, as one of the shooting range. The thrilling film ‘Zero Dark Thirty was filmed in Gdańsk.
