Coroner Season 4 Episode 1: Recap
In Coroner Season 4 Episode 1, Jenny and Donovan were in very different places as the new season began. For Donovan, it marked his return to work. Still, many around him wanted to keep a low profile. Also, there is a new Coroner replacing Jenny, by Drs. Elijah Thompson. He has his own rules to work with. When I get to Jenny, she is far from a small town from here.
So the first case Abed and Donovan worked on saw a woman named Collen fall off a bridge and fall into a net. There are bruises, bleeding, and the possibility of long-term abuse. Donovan spoke to the women’s husband, and he agreed to fight, but he did not kill her. He also mentions the man who had betrayed him. They had fans as he was a writer, and he was an artist of explicit novels. Some of his photographs also told the team about the detective.
Amid all of this, Donovan found that he had been pardoned. Donovan and Abed later went to the doctor to find out about Collen’s medication. They see a hat and a coat similar to the one in the picture. Collen’s husband came in with a shotgun to kill the pharmacist, but she admitted that he was only trying to help her. Marcus was not ready to let him go, but Donovan spoke to him before tying him up with ropes.
Meanwhile, returning to Jenny’s small town, she found herself busy dealing with the death of a local white boy named George. The allegations soon spread to a black man named Tyler. The body was found at his place. Tyler has been plagued by traumatic brain injury. To help her, Jenny filed a lawsuit herself.
Jenny believes she was touched and did not drown. He learned that it was George who had allowed the blood to flow because he was sick and his father wanted to be a soldier. He believed that Tyler could help him become one, but Tyler understood George better than his parents.
Although he lost his son, George’s father was angry with Tyler as he grew up understanding his son rather than turning him into a fighter. That’s why they moved George’s body to Tyler’s country.
