Chicago Fire Season 10 Episode 10: Recap
Chicago Fire Season 10 Episode 10 opened with a thunderstorm when Severide saw Stella in her apartment. He had left her and the firehouse without explanation which shocked Severide. However, he reassured Severide that he had never left anyone and only loved her. Although, the next day, he joined Firehouse 51 after apologizing to Cheif Boden for leaving the position of Lieutenant who ended up in Pelham.
Immediately, 51 received a call about a serious fire that had spread across the tunnel, and people were trapped inside. The team finally got everyone out safely. However, things started to come out of hand as there were too many potassium containers that were warming up and could explode at any moment.
Boden asked Herrmann to keep the containers cool and to keep the water away from chemicals. If not, the reaction may cause an explosion. Although Ritter continued to rescue a young police officer named Dillon, who was traumatized after being unable to rescue the burnt truck driver. Meanwhile, firefighters arrived on time, and the team put out the fire before potassium could cause an explosion.
At the station, Ritter asked Mouch to find out about Dillon as he would like to see if he was alive. He later received a letter from Dillon that was bothering him, and he hurried to his house. Ritter spoke with Dillon and told his story about his first fire that almost caused him to quit his job. The conversation eventually helped Dillon, and he decided to stay in the police force.
On the other hand, we saw Stella trying to spend time with Severide. Severide, however, was a little farther away from him. So he talked to her about a strange gap between them and Severide. Finally, at last, Severide told him of his doubts and asked him if he was still ready to marry her, but he did not answer.
