Yellowstone Season 4 Episode 10 comes with the difficult task of setting the end of the arcs throughout the season of different characters. Instead, the episode provides the likes of John, Beth, Kayce, Jamie, and others with difficult decisions they can make.
Beth and John have a big disagreement, and their approaches are almost completely different from each other. John has to take care of a complicated legal issue, and Jimmy and Emily’s relationship is facing an uncertain future. Yellowstone Season 4 Episode 10.
Yellowstone Season 4 Episode 9: Recap
In Yellowstone Season 4 Episode 9, Beth tells Rip to warn John before he gets into dangerous situations. Outside, John teaches Carter to ride a horse. A Dutton ancestor later tells a young boy how his great-grandfather and grandfather handled a buffalo situation in the region years ago.
After John returns home, Beth is outraged by her father’s negligent actions and inability to take action against those who have assaulted her family. John reassures her that this person is not Jamie. He tells her about Riggins, but Beth is frustrated with John’s attitude over the fiasco and leaves.
Summer calls John and finds out that his activist friend is facing a life sentence for assaulting law enforcement officials. John meets with Summer and his lawyer to find a way out of this situation. Summer tells John that he has been working on Beth’s orders. Not seeing any other way out and feeling obligated to help Summer because of Beth’s role in her arrest John reluctantly agrees to speak to the judge and ask for mercy.
Elsewhere, Jamie watches John’s heroic deeds receive media acclaim. Christina still believes that Jamie’s election campaign can be a success. However, after hearing of Garrett’s past as a criminal, he begins to have doubts. Christina suggests that Jamie ask Garrett to leave for a while in town.
John runs to Garrett for a local meal and speaks to him in a harsh tone of voice. Jimmy meets Travis at a rodeo event and finds out that arrangements have been made for him to return to Yellowstone Ranch. Jimmy tells Emily the news, and they both decide to split up. John confronts Beth about using Summer as a pawn.
He expresses his disappointment at her and asks Beth to spend some time away from the farm. Beth cries her heart out as Walker sings a sad song to her in the barn. Kayce contacts her spiritual side and begins searching for answers to her questions about her life.
