‘Christmas By Chance‘ was filmed in various parts of Ontario, such as Toronto, Port Perry, Newmarket, Kitchener, and Pontypool. According to sources, filming began in March 2020. However, it was discontinued a day later due to the imposition of the Covid-19 lockdown. Principal photography is set to resume in August 2020 and is expected to be completed in September 2020.
The team, like many other films, chose Ontario as the filming location because of the provincial’s distinctive landscape and regional incentives on filmmaking, making it the most favorable construction site. The technically well-equipped filming setup and vast network of trained staff further cemented Ontario’s location as a popular filming location.
