‘A Naija Christmas’ has become the first Nigerian Christmas film on the Netflix list. Helmeted by Kunal Afolian, the hilarious affair of tickling the rib is also very heartwarming. The story of this film revolves around an ill but fickle mother who has a strange desire during the holidays. What she wants is for her three bachelor sons to get married on Christmas day so that she can die peacefully.
Sons venture out during Christmas to form partners with guilt, but sadly, these companions do not. The premise is an enthusiastic venture and the film has attracted considerable attention due to its offbeat setting, stunning performances by famous Nollywood actors and actresses, and family background. Much of the story takes place in a suburban area of Lagos, Nigeria.
