Landscapers Season 1 Episode 3: Synopsis
Landscapers Season 1 Episode 3 is an opportunity to explore the past of Susan and Christopher as a couple. In particular, his relationship with William and Patricia Witcherley will be closely scrutinized. Landscapers Season 1 Episode 2: Recap
Landscapers Season 1 Episode 2 begins with a flashback revolving around a teenage Susan. Then, we moved on to William and Patricia, the former playing the piano and the latter drinking. Christopher’s advice to separate Susan continues throughout the episode, before being taken into special custody for questioning. “Tell our story simply and calmly. Nothing needs to be done. Tell them the truth,” he said.
We see Susan’s lawyer Douglas Hilton, who advised her to say “no comment” when questioned by police. Furthermore, he points out that the Crown Prosecution Service has only until the night to provide sufficient evidence to win the trial or obtain an extension. Susan tells him the version of the story and he writes it to the police.
Emma and Paul come to question Susan. Susan asked “no comment” for some questions and read her statement about Douglas Witcherly’s Night as ‘******’. Meanwhile, DCI finds that Collier Edwards has no big money and is friends with a French actor, Gerard Depardieu.
Throughout the episode, we see flashbacks of Susan and Christopher going dating for the first time; She meets her kind mother and takes her home after her. Meanwhile, Christopher refuses to use the lawyer, choosing to talk to the police himself. Her story is similar to Susan’s story about that lucky day in 1998.
He said he wanted to go to the police to talk about the Witcherley murders, but did not do so because his wife was “very vulnerable”. Later, Sandra Winters from the Forensic Finance Department discovers that the day after Vicharley’s death, Susan opened a joint account with her mother and transferred money from her parents’ account to it.
The police were frustrated because there was no strong evidence to double the ****** charge of their murder against Edwards. Emma decided to conduct interviews for both Susan and Christopher.
