Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 9: Recap
In Blue Bloods Season 12 Episode 9, we opened with the concerns of Jamie and Henry. He fell asleep and forgot to turn off the pan on the stove. At that moment, Eddie saw his former coworker Cora being shot by a man who was shooting in the street at random. She meets Cora the next day at the hospital, and her symptoms indicate that she may be pregnant. Cora agrees and asks him to keep it a secret.
Danny and Baez found themselves in trouble because of the crowd as they tried to question a man named Gavin Powers. He was trying to abuse a woman, but because of the declining NYPD system, they were unable to track his history in a database.
This saw them release him. When they returned the next day, they discovered that he had a letter authorizing him to do so. Frank knew that the decline in systems was a test just as Sloane, a former London commissioner, came up with a proposal to upgrade the NYPD systems.
Danny and Baez later pursued a similar case. The name of the case was Bill Smith. The trial weakened Baez, but Danny was there to comfort her. Tracking the criminal led to them seeing someone other than Gavin. During the struggle, Baez was shot but fortunately survived. The whole institution found out about Cora’s pregnancy, and she blamed Eddie for everything as she believed she could tell Jamie.
Coming to Frank, his department can only play a third of what Sloane offers. As a result, he relapsed into his career as a commissioner in London, much to his chagrin. He later met her at a bar. Jamie later phoned Cora to let her know that some things were visible, and everyone in the center saw her pregnancy. We also saw Henry and Jamie arguing throughout the episode, but in the end, Jamie was determined to keep Henry safe.
