Encounter Movie Filming Locations
“Encounter” was filmed entirely in California, especially in the San Bernardino, Inno, and Mono counties. Major photography of the movie began in the second half of 2020 under the name ‘Invasion’ and continued until the beginning of December 2020.

A significant portion of ‘Encounter’ was filmed at Twenty Nine Palms in San Bernardino County. Filming took place in Joshua Tree National Park, famous for its desert landscapes. It consists of parts of the Mojave Desert and the Colorado Desert, with the Little San Bernardino Mountains on its southwest edge.
