Our Christmas Journey is a beautiful family movie set for the holiday season. The story is about Lena, a single mother raising two children – son Marcus and daughter Maya, who suffers from autism. When her ex-husband Rick asks to send their son to a prestigious psychiatric event, he accompanies his children and mother for a discussion. On Christmas weekend, Rick and Lena spend time together and discover that they still have some unresolved feelings for each other.
However, he was reluctant to give things another chance and at the same time allowed Marcus to come to earth no matter who he was. Thus, Lena gradually learns to let her son become independent and walk his own path in life. He and Rick are also struggling to reunite their families or keep things the same.
An emotionally charged story about family values, child-rearing, and love, “Our Christmas Journey” also raises the audience about autism and is packed with great scenes of the Uletide season.
