‘Mixtape’ is a family comedy movie that follows Twelve-year-old Beverly Moody, who finds a long-lost attachment to her parents when she discovers Mixtape. The two-year-old orphaned girl and her friends make a strange adventure to track all the songs on tape and discover new perspectives about themselves in the process.
The witty suburban backdrop of the musical comedy is ridiculous in contrast to the rock-and-roll music that young Beverly and her friends do for their adventure and that her parents left for her.
