‘A Christmas Village Romance’, also known as ‘Christmas at Maple Creek’, directed by Max McGuire, is a romantic movie with a rural appeal. It revolves around Diana, a famous romance novelist who came to Maple Creek Village to write her next book.

Dunvegan is a very small community in North Glengary, Ontario, and is located northeast of Stewarts Glenn. Glengory Pioneers Museum, founded in 1962, is a historic site with replicas of 19th-century buildings and artifacts.
It has an inn, a blacksmith shop, and barns with farm equipment. There is also a pavilion for the display and events and celebrations of the 1812 War. It was here that the museum scenes were filmed, adding historical elements to the movie.
