‘American Reunion is a 2012 sex joke and the fourth edition of the comedy and popular‘ American Pie ’films. A group of high school friends meet years later at their school reunion and remember their worst moments back in the day. However, things have not changed much, and soon the tricks that start with honesty, make things as confusing as they were years ago.
Amidst the background of the amazing little town where the central actors of the movie grew up and had exciting adventures against their growing sexuality, the movie is a perfect piece of nostalgia. The setting is calm and makes their jokes seem noisy, and fans of the movie series will see many of the places they are familiar with from previous repetitions. American Reunion.
American Reunion Movie Filming Locations
“American Reunion.” Sitting in a small town in Michigan, the movie was actually shot in Georgia, with a few scenes appearing to be filmed in California.
Most of the main films were made locally, and the filmmaking team used various locations in Georgia to cover the movie’s background. The recording reportedly started on May 25, 2011, and ended in August of that year.
American Reunion movie crew also appeared to move to California to record short but important scenes from Jim’s father’s house, which is the scene of many memorable moments.
The house at 4153 Cedar Avenue in Long Beach was reportedly used to view scenes showing Jim’s family home.
“American Reunion.” Filmmaking took place mostly in and around Atlanta, including Woodruff Park in downtown Atlanta. The 6-hectare park, located at 91 Peachtree Street, is an icon of the city but appears to have stood in a park in Michigan at the time of the recording.
The production team then moved to the area around Metro Atlanta, Georgia, especially to the city of Monroe, which is responsible for movie editing in East Great Falls, Michigan. A restaurant called Coffee Camper Co. at 101 North Broad Street Suite B was changed to look like the Dog Years Coffee Shop where a gang of thugs often chilled out in their younger days. The scenes were reportedly shot at 128 South Broad Street.
The editorial team also spent time in the town of Conyers, where the lens installation took place at Heritage High School. Located at 2400 Granade Road South West, a school football stadium and music hall were used to record several scenes.
Other areas used in the movie include Olde Town Conyers, a district with a history of the city and located at the Historic Train Depot at 901 Railroad Street. Costley Mill Park was reportedly used at 2455 Costley Mill Road North East and a shop on Sigman Road.
Newton High School, located at 1 Ram Way in the city of Covington, was also heavily used for recording. Lensing is done on the school football field, gymnasium, common area, and corridors, and up to 200 more in some areas.
“American Reunion.” One of the last resorts for a team of producers to spend time shooting in the town of Cumming, where Mary Alice Park in 1820 Mary Alice Park Road and its associated Lake Lanier were used as an entrance to Lake Michigan. It is also reported that more than 100 others were used to record some of the scenes around the lake.
