Henry, on the other hand, will assist Black Union soldiers by inspecting the uniform, which they need to pass in order to become an authorized force. We will probably see some of Henry’s efforts to improve the military and find the weapons he needs most.

Later, the Dickinsons visited the Quilting Bazaar; However, things took a turn for the worse when city dwellers called Edward a traitor by his open letter to the editor asking citizens to listen to the stories of both Union and Union supporters. Ithamar asks Edward, who has a Confederate brother in Georgia, to vote aside.
Wanting to please her father on her birthday, Emily arranges for an old family to sing. However, Vinnie has made a vow of peace in honor of fallen soldiers. Henry, on the other hand, reassures soldiers of the importance of reading and writing by emphasizing the need to understand the history of his Black brothers.
At that point, the Dickinsons had a great time singing songs and reconnecting. However, Austin appears and says he is starting his own law firm, splitting up with Sue, and plans to take his son to full term. Later, Sue receives Emily’s letter to Higginson and feels betrayed by the fact that she sent him the same poem she gave him.
