‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife,’ the fourth movie in the popular franchise of ‘Ghostbusters’. Technically, it comes as the third installment in the original franchise created by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis as the 2016 movie is considered a re-launch and not a sequel to the original story. This is followed by Trevor and Phoebe and their mother as they are forced into the crumbling house of their late ancestor in the rough town of Oklahoma in Summerville.
In the course of the movie, they discovered their grandfather’s ghost. The ghosts are out in the open with discovery, as the 1984 Manhattan Crossrip in the original movie. The movie received widespread praise for its play, musical notes, and direction, while critics were eager to express the movie’s eagerness to impress first-time fans. ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ was heavily recorded in Canada, especially in Alberta. The main photography began on July 12, 2019, under the active title ‘Rust City,’ and closed on October 18 of the same year.

“Ghostbusters Afterlife.” While the cinema story is supposed to take place in the Oklahoma city of Summerville, there is no such place on the Oklahoma map. The actors and crew filmed many parts of the movie in and around Canadian, Alberta, and especially Calgary, and the nearby Rocky View region. Other scenes were recorded at Walmart Deerfoot City Supercentre, a large department store at 1110 57 Avenue North East in Calgary.
The location of the movie studio is Calgary movie Center, a large production facility located at 5750 76 Avenue South East # 10 in the city. The producer’s team created an exciting ambiance in the audio sections of the studio. Several sequences were recorded on W.G’s premises. Murdoch School, located at Box 750 High School, in Crossfield Township in Rocky View County. In another scene, Mr. Grooberson helps Phoebe and Podcast to activate the old ghost. The incident was recorded in a car park near the school.
“Ghostbusters Afterlife.” The team of organizers relocated to Beiseker, a remote village in the Calgary Metropolitan region, about 40 miles [70 km] northeast of the city of Calgary. The movie also features Turner Valley Gas Plant, an oil and natural gas industry located on Sunset Boulevard South East, Turner Valley township in the state of Calgary.
The group filmed the scenes at Ng’s Café, a restaurant once located at 210 6 Street in Beiseker. However, the popular Chinese group is not working right now. A few scenes were filmed at another restaurant called Apple Pie Café in the same area. At 202A 6 Street in Beiseker, this cafe is also permanently closed.
The group visited the small town south of Alberta in the summer of 2019. Other scenes were also recorded in the vicinity of Dorothy’s pooky region of the region, about 85 miles [85 km] northwest of Brooks. In one scene, children find their grandfather’s Ectomobile and drive it into a cornfield; the incident was recorded in the city. The series also features the Dorothy Ferry Bridge, located on Highway 848 over the Red River in the same area. A few more scenes were recorded on Highway 848.
Scenes were also filmed around the ruined city of Drumheller, located in Starland County. In one scene, the children are sitting in the gorge. While the region may have some similarities in the harsh areas of Oklahoma, the scenes were recorded by Horsethief Canyon, 16 miles northwest of the city of Drumheller, Alberta badlands. “Ghostbusters Afterlife.” Well, you probably want to get to know the town that represents the fictional Summerville movie. Fort MacLeod, a beautiful city in the southwest state, doubled as Oklahoma City in the movie. Some of the scenes were filmed near the Empress Theater, a non-profit historical theater at 235 24 Street. A hairdressing series was filmed on 24th Street and 2nd Street, and another scene was filmed near a Java store. If the cafe is located at 2310 2 Avenue in the city, the place is permanently closed.
