In The Faraway Paladin Season 1 Episode 5, after Will has managed to trick Stagnate and catch him unattended, the God of the dead probably realizes that he should not waste his time fighting the main character. Therefore, he deceives her and goes straight to Blood and Mary. When a frightening awareness strikes Will, he runs to his guard. By the time he got there, however, it was too late as Stagnate was about to take the life of Mary and Blood.
Fortunately, the God of the Earth intervenes, giving Will ample time to retrieve his vicious enemy. He calls for God’s help of light and strikes Inkatha with his sword. With just one right blow, the young man is able to defeat the God of the dead, thinking he has saved the Blood and Mary.
