In-Home Economics Season 2 Episode 7,’ Tom takes a working trip to Puerto Rico where he first falls in love with the famous chef Sofía, a celebrity who writes for a ghost. On the phone, Marina is surprised to learn that her shy husband has been going for a swim and is now affectionately called “Tomás” instead of Tom. As a result, Marina becomes jealous, and Tom, who has changed, returns home to find him lying on the couch.
When Tom talks to his wife, he admits that he is in pain because he never checks and walks out of his comfort zone whenever they are together, unlike his inconsistencies with Sofía. So, Tom decides to be Tomás and plans a night full of fun and exciting things. However, his anxiety interferes with his performance and the evening becomes bittersweet. Despite experiencing a night of frustration, Marina still tells him that she loves him for who he is.
Meanwhile, Sarah and Denise’s daughter Shamiah turns to her uncle Connor for advice about the boy she loves. Parents are concerned when they find out about their daughter’s dream about boys.
