Swagger Season 1 Episode 3,’ features Jace facing 1 DMV local player Nick Mendez. We were briefly briefed on Nick’s backstory and were shown how dedicated his mother was like Jenna to see her son succeed in basketball.
Throughout the episode, the two young athletes show how badly they want to win, which leads to a tense match when they end up facing off on the field. In the end, Jace’s team wins, but Nick’s team seems to be the one getting the sponsorship deal at the athletics clothing company. Our hero team and coach are also not impressed with the way Jace played during the game, which left him angry and frustrated even though he won.
Meanwhile, Ike discusses a possible sponsorship deal with a former colleague who is now a well-known NBA player. Despite being offered a jealous salary and a significant financial improvement for his team and popularity, Ike feels uncomfortable accepting the deal. The episode concludes with the coach realizing that his older colleague is young and unreliable, he refuses the contract and leaves.
