‘Swagger’ is recorded in many cities in the state of Virginia. The production of season 1 was scheduled to start in October 2019 but was delayed for various reasons, including former cast member Winston Duke was injured, followed by the Covid-19 epidemic.
However, the recording was resumed in December 2020 and was apparently completed by April 2021.

The play is mostly recorded in the Richmond regional capital, and the production team uses the Downtown YMCA at 2 West Franklin Street to watch multiple scenes. The Gilpin Court scene also appears in the exhibition, and the shooting in the area was done near Calhoun Street. The driver of the game was also reportedly recorded at Gilpin Court.
The town of Hopewell also offers many places that make ‘Swagger’ live, including Hopewell City Park, located at 245 Appomattox Street. The First Baptist Church on 401 North 2nd Avenue appears in a few squares. Finally, the area around the South 6th Avenue Marvin Neal Bridge is reportedly being used for recording.
The brand also uses a few locations around the city of Petersburg, south of Richmond. It seems that the lens is made in various parts of the city, and Petersburg may also be used in the exhibition to show the various cities that Jace’s team visits to play season games.
