Thomas William Hiddleston was born on February 9, 1981, in the Westminster region of London, Diana Patricia (née Servaes) Hiddleston, artistic and stage manager, and Dr. James Norman Hiddleston, a physiotherapist, and chief executive of the University of biotechnx ex-biotechnology company. Tom Hiddleston grew up in Wimbledon as a young man and later moved to a village near Oxford.  He started boarding at Windlesham House School at the age of seven and moved to Drag School in Oxford a year later.   Her parents divorced when she was twelve. Regarding the divorce of his parents, he said, “I like to think it made me more sympathetic to my understanding of human weakness.”

At the age of thirteen, Tom Hiddleston started at Eton College, and also became a board member. He went on to Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge, where he earned a double diploma in Classics. he appeared in the production of A Streetcar Named Desire by talented lawyer Lorraine Hamilton of Hamilton Hodell during his second term in Cambridge.  He went on to study acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, where he graduated in 2005.

He donated auctions and supported several charities, including the Small Steps Project, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Cure EB, Comic Relief, Red Nose Day USA, Thomas Coram Foundation for Children, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Amnesty International, and Chance to Shine.

He is the UK’s ambassador for the UNICEF aid and development assistance group. He traveled to Guinea in early 2013 to raise awareness of hunger and malnutrition, and to South Sudan in early 2015 and late 2016 to report the effects of the ongoing civil war on the lives of many children across the country.

Tom Hiddleston is best known for his role in Loki’s 2011 film Marvel Studios. He was invited for an interview by Kenneth Branagh, the film’s director, after previously working with Branagh in Ivanov and Wallander. Hiddleston said of Branagh, “Ken has been instrumental in changing lives. Knowing that to his superiors, ‘Trust in this, you can throw Tom away and he will be quiet. In November 2010, Tom Hiddleston appeared with Benedict Cumberbatch, Gemma Arterton, Eddie Redmayne, and Rose Byrne among others at Danny Boyle’s simultaneous production of The Children’s Monologues, in which he played Prudence, a girl who was upset with her mother for her father’s departure and happy birthday. The play is a one-time series of stories translated into the experiences of children in South Africa being reprinted and performed by various actors.

In 2011, Tom Hiddleston presented novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald to author Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris. From December 2013 to February 2014, Tom Hiddleston played the title role in William Shakespeare’s Coriolanus at the Donmar Warehouse in Covent Garden led by Josie Rourke. In 2019, he played the role of Robert from March 5 to June 8 in a Harold Pinter’s Betrayal revival at the Harold Pinter Theater, led by Jamie Lloyd.

Tom Hiddleston narrated the World Night in Color, an American nature television series produced by Offspring Films. The series premiered on December 4, 2020, on Apple TV +, with its second season airing on April 16, 2021.

Originally announced in November 2018, Tom Hiddleston re-started in his role as Loki at Loki which premiered on Disney + in June 2021. The Norwegian language, especially Full Full, is sung by Loki’s third episode which starts at number ten on Billboard World Digital Song Sales. Loki received positive reviews, and on 14 July 2021, he was officially renewed for the second season.

Kenneth Branagh realized that the first time he saw Tom Hiddleston, playing Cassio at Othello, it became clear to him that he was Shakespeare’s natural speaker. Tom Hiddleston spent nearly five weeks preparing for Hank Williams’ role, playing seven of the film’s most iconic songs.  He said this approach is not easy for him because it does not help him as a participant. Dominic Cavendish of the Telegraph has suggested that Tom Hiddleston “has high-profile movies among the bigwigs”, and The Independent Paul Taylor said, “his list is beginning to look endless”. 

David Fear Rolling Stone has described the two sides in Tom Hiddleston, the movie star of the old Midnight school in Paris, War Horse or The Night Manager, and his “unpredictable, borderline version weirdo” seen in characters such as Loki or High-Rise, add by saying that Tom Hiddleston refuses to dwell on a certain type of role.
