Florence Pugh Life and Family :
Florence Rose Pugh was born on January 3, 1996, in Oxford, England, United Kingdom. Her father was a caretaker and her mother was a dance teacher. Pugh grew up in Oxford, and as a teenager, her family moved to Spain for three years in hopes of recovering from a recurring health problem that left tracheomalacia.
Tracheomalacia leads to slightly fallen litter, making breathing very difficult. It used to send Pugh to the hospital at an early age. Florence Pugh said of the situation,
“It’s because I have a deep voice and why I sound like a goose when I laugh.”
Even as a child, Florence Pugh knew how to entertain the audience. While performing the role of Mary at the birth of Jesus when she was six years old, Florence Pugh entertained viewers by embracing the northern hemisphere and complaining of varicose veins.
“It was the first time I knew the power of being on stage,” Pugh said. “I remember thinking, ‘Oh God, they’re waiting for me, they’re listening to everything I say and I’m in complete control.'”
Florence Pugh attended Wychwood and St. Petersburg private schools. Edward is in Oxford, but she did not succeed in his studies.
“I don’t think I was built for a school,” Pugh told The New York Times in 2020. “I just wanted to play and make music and make jars.”
“I grew up in a noisy family, and we loved being watched,”
Florence Pugh said in 2018. Her two siblings also became actors. Her older brother Toby Sebastian introduced Prince Trystane Martell to “Game of Thrones” and her older sister Arabella Gibbins who trained as an actor and worked on stage, as a singer and voice coach. Pugh also has a younger sister, Rafaela, who was born when Pugh was seven.
Florence Pugh’s boyfriend is Zach Braff, star of the TV show “Scrubs.” The two have been friends since 2018. Pugh appeared in Braff’s short film When It Came to Get There (2019). The two were separated on their own during the Covid-19 epidemic in 2020 and adopted a dog.
Braff is twenty years older than Pugh, a fact that has drawn criticism on social media. When Florence Pugh wished Braff a Happy birthday on Instagram in April 2020, he had to immediately close the comments due to a negative response. However, Pugh did not back down from defending their relationship, announcing on his Instagram page,
“I’m 24 years old. I don’t need you to tell me who I should and who I shouldn’t and in my life, I would never tell anyone they know and can’t love.”

The pilot did not have a series. He later told Vogue, “When it didn’t work out, that’s when I realized my freedom.”
The inclusion of Lady Macbeth (2016), based on a Russian 1865 novel, rekindled Pugh’s love of acting. She has received a British Independent Film Award for this role. That same year Pugh achieved success on British television in miniseries “The Little Drummer Girl,” based on John le Carré’s book, and appeared as Cordelia in King Lear’s production.
