Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol Season 1 Episode 5,’ Bellamy meets Jonathan, the leader of what appears to be an armed and defense organization and a fellow member of the Leviathan Group. It was revealed that Jonathan was the one who followed Katherine and Langdon to the cemetery.
Reminding Bellamy of why the Jonathan Group Group exists, he asks Bellamy What Langdon found on this site. At Nunez’s home, Langdon and Nunez speculate that certain inscriptions in the stone box refer to the German artist Albrecht Dürer’s revival in 1514 by Melencolia I.
Peter wakes up after spending days inside Araf, and Mal’akh forces him to record, in which he tells Langdon that the student must find out the truth about the portal or he will be killed. Using a magic square from Melencolia I, Langdon discovers that the symbols on the tower represent “the one true God.”
Nunez goes to Janitor’s wife and finds out that she is a zealous follower of Mal’akh as her husband. Before committing suicide, he announces that Mal’akh will never release Peter because he is a tool of the last phase.
Langdon meets Katherine and tries to rescue Peter with the help of Sato and Adam. He reaches Mal’akh and pretends to solve the mystery of the site when he has not yet done so. They planned an unplanned downfall after the emergence of other CIA operations, and Mal’akh managed to capture Langdon. The episode ends as Mal’akh threatens Langdon, telling him that he will kill both him and Peter if he fails to find the site.
