Lithuania
“The Forgotten Battle.” An important part of the filming took place in the Eastern European country of Lithuania. Zeeland Sloedam holds an important role in the story because of the importance of space in the Battle of Walcheren Causeway.
However, after the construction of Verse Gatdam in 1961, Sloedam and its environs saw significant changes. Naturally, creating timepieces requires attention to detail, and the director chose to record scenes elsewhere in Lithuania. A dam was originally built in Lithuania to help with the recording.
Belgium
The Forgotten Battle movie scenes took place on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium, and the director took his crew to a neighboring country to film a sequence. Actors and staff record scenes in Limburg and its environs, which are the eastern states of the five Dutch-speaking provinces that make up the Flanders Region.
Other parts were recorded in and around Sint-Truiden, a town, and municipality in the province of Limburg, in the Flemish region of Belgium. Another sequel was also recorded in Hasselt, the capital of the province of Limburg.
Netherlands
Most of The Forgotten Battle movie theaters took place in the Dutch suburb of the western part of the country, and the director had to show some real places to keep the realities. Scenes were recorded in Middelburg, the capital of the province of Zeeland.
A sequence was taken from Vlissingen, an old port city on the river Scheldt on the former island of Walcheren. Because of its strategically important position, Vlissingen was an important historical and commercial center in the Netherlands.
“The Forgotten Battle.” The recording was also performed in the Dutch township of Brouwershaven, in the Grevelingen section of the Rhine-Meuse River, in the same province. In addition, a production team recorded scenes in the Veere municipality in Walcheren, Sluis, a town west of the history of Zeelandic Flanders, and the nearby township of Sint Anna ter Muiden.
