NCIS Season 19 Episode 4,’ bids farewell to Gibbs as he parted ways with McGee at the end. It is a relief that our favorite agent could be prosecuted for shooting LeMere. So he begins to ignore his boss’s orders because of his behavior that interferes with their cases. Although Parker does not report Gibbs to the authorities and even returns his badge, Gibbs refuses to be part of the group.
Earlier in the episode, Gibbs leaves Alaska with McGee as his partner. They are investigating the families of LeMere’s victims, and the first, Libby, turns out to be an independent activist who wrote a report on the irreparable damage to nature Sonova could cause.
Gibbs then accused Sonia Eberhart, Sonova’s chief executive officer, of hiring LeMere to kill him. In addition, Libby had obtained her report from a biologist who was LeMere’s second victim.
Gibbs prepares to arrest Sonia, but the evidence eventually goes back to Jen’s husband, Phil Hanover. He owns part of the land in Naktok Bay, and Eberhard has said he will pay her if he will end all opposition. So he hired LeMere to kill everyone who opposed Sonova, digging mines in Naktok. Marcie eventually leads them to the gangster, who ends up in jail.
