Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 Episode 2 ‘Another Kind of Tomorrow,’ opens in Seattle, where Richard teaches citizens about the trials and tribulations of the world after COVID-19. He also takes on the responsibilities of the missing Meredith. Owen, Cormac, and Megan are working together to rescue a father and son from a car accident. Danny will survive but Noah does not have much time.
Owen offers to apply to the Veterans Affairs office to fund Noah’s treatment, but the man refuses to accept help and is released from the hospital. The next patient Rashida suffers from kidney disease but is not eligible for a kidney transplant because of her very high GFR number. Winston points out how racist the formula is and makes an effort to explain that to Rashida’s doctor. Finally, Rashida was able to apply for a replacement.
For one thing, Nick asks Meredith about the day, but his mind is busy with his new work, which could change the world! Eventually, he chooses to refer this to Nick during their time. Although he wants to do it, the project has its challenges, which can tarnish his reputation in the community. Meredith’s ego seems to have found him.
However, Meredith eventually passes and sets a few conditions as Hamilton listens. He wants to fully control his work and complete understanding and wants to set up a lab in Seattle itself. Meredith is given all his wishes, except that he should go to Minnesota once a week. Finally, Richard admits he wants to start big changes in Grey Sloan.
