Love Strikes Twice Movie Filming Locations
‘Love Strikes Twice’ is set in Chicago, where Maggie works for a well-respected law firm and runs a house with her husband, Josh. However, like many Hallmark movies, it was filmed in Canada. In Winnipeg, to clarify.
Manitoba: Winnipeg Location
‘Love Strikes Twice’ was recorded in the city of Winnipeg in the summer of 2021. The capital of the Canadian province of Manitoba, Winnipeg is known for its beautiful scenery, exhibitions, festivals, large green spaces, tall buildings, food trucks, and a love of art. The city is famous for its 20th-century architecture, long winters, short summers, and occasional rain.
Winnipeg is a place known as the ‘Gateway to the West and the ‘Cultural Cradle of Canada,’ a beautiful place for a production team looking for beautiful landscapes and exotic landscapes – from parks to beaches – to make its characters feel at home. Many lakes and beautiful beaches are a few miles from the city. Therefore, it is not surprising that the city hosted the recording of ‘Love Strikes Double’.
Winnipeg is also proud of the strong, complete college community where Maggie meets her college boyfriend Rick and helps her future husband Josh maintain a local library. The beautiful setting of the city allows Maggie’s exploration of her past to be something that delights fans.
