FBI Season 4 Episode 1: Recap
In FBI Season 4 Episode 1, the title is “All That Glitters” the story was an FBI case involving two women killed and a sea of powerful men turns into a campaign to find a dangerous leader of a long-standing criminal business, in the second half of a special three-part crossover event and an FBI’s third season premiere.
The case is being handled emotionally by all agents, especially Agents OA (from the FBI) and LaCroix. In LaCroix, his agent, Crosby, was shot but survived. In OA, a teenage girl who fell victim to a sex ring died at her hands and was willing to help. That’s where we start from the FBI season 3 premiere!
Crosby was undergoing surgery and his team was there to see him gone. Agent Castille told Agent LaCroix’s team about Nathan Tate. He was about to be arrested on a charge of sexually abusing a child when it appeared he committed suicide until investigators saw a bullet hole in his head. Agent Castille pulled Lacroix aside to let him know that he and Crosby were allowed to kill defensively.
On the roof of the house, Agent OA briefed the LaCroix team on the murder of Tate and Julia. And he shared his suspicions about Fiona Grand, the woman who was in charge of the yacht event, and her phone that led to the discovery of Julia. He’s on the air so agents are focusing on who could have killed Tate. Security gave the agents a new hunting scent. Agent OA has asked to be on the sidelines.
The group found the shooter on a subway train. LaCroix has ordered that it be delayed in the tunnel so that the perpetrator is not alarmed, and has no way of escaping. The man grew confused and left the next stop. The group let him get off the train and put a tail on him.
They were so close that he shot them and kidnapped them. A shooting ensued and the NYPD joined the blaze. Suddenly, a black BMW appeared and two boxes exploded, killing a police officer and keeping his agents present. The man was running from their car until a gunman, who was crying alone, fired two shots, knocking down the suspect.
The shooter identified himself with the FBI and surrendered. Turns out he was Fed Attorney Kristin Gaines from the Miami section. He had been stalking the man for several months working on a drug case and arms. He was part of a larger conspiracy. Following the hearing, Agent Gaines requested that the search be continued.
