Creepshow Season 2 “The Sound of the Trumpet”: Victoria Smoot as Barbara Crampton, a proud, heartless, racist shack that employs a lucky plumber Linus Carruthers as Eric Edelstein to inspect the installation of plumbing in the most inaccessible building after receiving numerous complaints. When Linus finds out that his building has lead pipes even though the children live in it, Linus tells Victoria that he can’t fix the lead pipes and needs to report a health violation in the town hall, but still forces him to work to find the root of the problem under the threat of losing his business.
In desperate need of financial support to repair the damage done by his late brother in the plumbing business, Linus is forced to comply with his terms. After digging something, Linus discovers that the source of the problem is the drainage lump (named after the Creepshow release cover of this episode as “Cloggy”) which is not only sensible but also incredibly fast and craving human flesh.
When one of the tenants, Janet (Selena Anduze), found out about Cloggy, she and Linus gathered other tenants and planned to use it against Victoria, deciding that she was a real problem for the building. Linus and the crew, armed with Linus’ tools, confronted Victoria, leading her to stand on the storm. Cloggy’s clothes wrap around her leg and drag her down the ditch, devouring her alive. Sometime later, Janet’s daughter Leila places a plate of food and a drawing near the open pipe where Cloggy lives, meaning she was a friend of the creature.
